The Heart of the Ocean – Blue Diamonds

Have you seen the movie Titanic? If you have, then perhaps you remember that the main attraction in the movie was the heart shaped blue diamond which they called “Heart of the Ocean”. When I first saw the film, I was a bit skeptical and thought that it was impossible for diamonds to be blue. Was I wrong!
It turns out that colored diamonds can actually be crafted and cultured in laboratories. Fancy blue diamond gems may be man-made using technological processes and elemental additives but they still have the 4 Cs of genuine diamonds: carat, color, clarity and cut. But aside from those aspects, there is something even more special about man-made diamonds. What is that?
Well, man-made diamonds belong to what is now called Eco-friendly jewelry since they were created without disturbing the earth’s layers. In short, they were created without the need for earth mining. But even so, these created diamonds still have the same brilliance as earth-mined diamonds.
