Although there are women who prefer a minimalistic approach when it comes to wearing jewellery, there are those who fancy jewellery with spunk and recall. Others make do with a simple pair of earrings or a ring or maybe none at all while others would want to wear the complete set, from a pair of earrings to a ring or two on their fingers. Suffice it to say that there is something about jewellery and women that make them not want to part from each other. Personally, I love wearing jewellery. However, I don’t wear a lot of them. I make do with earrings and maybe a charm bracelet or two.
But I do have a lot of charm bracelets in my jewellery box. I actually collect them and if you ask me why, I would say that I collect Charm jewellery because of the meaning it holds. You see, each charm on a piece of jewellery may represent something – it could be a family heirloom, something bought from a trip or maybe even something that has religious significance. In charm bracelets, the charms can be collected one at a time, each addition reflecting the owner’s hobbies, interests and experiences.
The charms may also symbolize significant events in your life like the time you first met your significant other, the day you said yes to his proposal, the day you got married and for each anniversary thereafter. The charms may also symbolize your children and any other important milestones in your family. Here you can see that charm jewellery is not just beautiful but it’s also something very significant and meaningful. So the next time someone gives you charm jewellery, try to analyze what the meaning is behind it. Or, you could also give it as a gift to your friends and loved ones to show them how much you value them.
